SCM York (formerly Christian Focus)
SCM York at the University of York is affiliated to the Student Christian Movement, a national grouping of student Christian societies which is not linked to any one denomination or theological viewpoint. See www.movement.org for more details. The society aims to provide a safe and inclusive space to discuss how Christianity affects the political, social and ethical choices we make. A typical term might include speaker meetings, trips out to local churches, public lectures, and social events.
The society usually meets on Wednesday evenings in More House at 7.30 pm.
